Gold Rush Playtest #5: Rewards
The competition was fierce and the stakes were high for loot in Playtest #5! Over 2,400 Energy Orbs (0.005E each) were purchased over a 48h period, building up to a final prize pool of 14.285 ETH ($39,240 USD). The numbers have been crunched (finally!) - here’s how the rewards shook out:
Reward Pool Allocation
The total reward pool for Playtest #5 was allocated based on player rankings and participation, ensuring everyone had a shot at either Blast Gold or Essence Points.
- ETH (14.285 ETH): The ETH prize pool was split directly amongst the top 250 Royal Favor earners, pro rata based on Royal Favor
- Blast Gold (257,274 GOLD): The Blast Gold prize pool was split based on Royal Favor
- Gold Rush EP: Gold Rush Essence Points were awarded for participating based on a variety of weighted metrics of performance in game (Energy Orbs purchased, XP leaderboards, Royal Favor Earned, PvM / PvP leaderboards, Coins held at the end of the playtest, delegates, Total Levels, # of players sponsored, bug bounties, feedback, etc.)
